The MADA CHAPTER award is presented to a Chapter that has displayed outstanding dedication or has been responsible for outstanding accomplishments of significance to their local multiple births community.

The 2021 Chapter MADA goes to WINDSOR ESSEX Parents of Multiple Births Association (WEPOMBA)

​Although like other areas, this Chapter has not been able to offer in-person events, they offered free membership to families renewing for another year with POMBA, and a discounted rate for any new member families from the community and managed to keep their membership steady.

They have offered successful online prenatal information sessions to assist local expectant parents, scavenger hunts and social distance walks in the park. They stood united in support of their local NICU during smile cookie week with a chapter cookie challenge.

This Chapter celebrated NMBAD 2021 by promoting Equity and inclusion for multiple birth families with a member picture project. This was a fun and interactive activity that brought our members together in a challenging time, when they were missing the in-person connections.

​Going forward they are planning another socially distant Halloween event, a virtual clothing sale, Facetime with Santa and Mrs Clause, and keeping their fingers crossed that in person events will be possible in the spring.
