The Heart of MBC MADA is awarded to an MBC volunteer who has displayed outstanding dedication, contributing to promoting the MBC annual theme or has been responsible for outstanding accomplishments of national significance in the field of multiple births in Canada.

The 2022 winner of the Heart of MBC award is Valerie Hodgins.

This mom of 20-year-old triplets has been a member of her local chapter for 20 years and chaired the MADA committee for MBC for 5 years. As the MADA Committee Chair, Val recruited committee members, collected nomination information, wrote commentary and presented at the MADA ceremony. She is an avid supporter of MBC and we thank her for her heart for our mission!
