2022 Shining Star (Edmonton)
Morgana Naclia
The Shining Star MADA is awarded to an individual who has displayed outstanding dedication or has been responsible for outstanding accomplishments of local significance in the field of multiple births in a local community in Canada. One Shining Star award will be given out to each MBC Chapter annually.
The winner of the 2022 Shining Star award for the Edmonton Twin and Triplet Club (ETTC) is Morgana Naclia.
Morgana has been a valuable leader and team member leading ETTC through some tough times through the COVID pandemic. Membership numbers had dropped, volunteers were fewer and fewer, events were tough to create and host safely...and through all of this she has been unwavering in her support of the mission of the organization. She is positive, hardworking, and so passionate about the ETTC and all it can be for members. She is an amazing volunteer and brings light and positivity to all around her.
Morgana stepped back into the President role after her initial run was completed, as the club was in need of a strong leader to help bring the chapter back to thriving. She is the right person to help bring the chapter back to life and provide support for multiple birth families in the Edmonton area. In addition to her leadership, she has been amazing at stepping into other roles and areas that require assistance including the most recent project of finding the ETTC the perfect space to lease.
She deserves to be recognized for her incredible dedication to the multiple births community.
